The mission of Boulder’s Bridge House is to serve the area’s homeless and working poor.  Its Ready To Work Program is Boulder’s first transitional employment program to help homeless men and women reenter the workforce. Dennis, who lost his job in 2009, couldn’t find steady employment and ended up living on the streets. He found that employers often dismiss the applications of the homeless. Dennis credits his faith in God for getting him through the rough times, and the help of Bridge House in helping him find a job and get off the streets. Dennis is now employed and has saved enough money to move into an apartment.
