Sexting, the practice of sending nude and semi-nude photographs or suggestive/explicit words over text messages, has previously been reported as a teen problem. It turns out to be a popular adult practice as well. Studies have shown that 6% of adults admit to sexting. Although sexting can be a problem when messages are sent to the wrong person or used in harassment, some experts say it can be a positive addition to adult intimacy and can be a creative way for couples to rekindle their relationships. Of the 47% of adults who text in England, 1 in 10 have sent a sext to the wrong person.
