Would more men quit if they knew the risks smoking posed to their sexual ability? A man’s sex life depends on healthy blood flow. Smoking has been shown to adversely affect blood flow to the heart and now, to the sexual organs. Men who smoke more than a pack day have been found to suffer a much greater risk of erectile dysfunction that other men. A team at Tulane University studied 4,764 sexually active Chinese men, 62% of which were smokers and 9.5 % were former smokers. They found that the more cigarettes a man smoked, the more likely he was to experience sexual problems.
