For men, sexual dysfunction is more than just erectile dysfunction (ED). Among men with healthy erections, 18% may have trouble ejaculating. Men with mild or no ED may have trouble experiencing an orgasm. Medications are available to assist with these problems, but they aren’t the only assistance available. Kegel exercises can help men achieve orgasm or ejaculate. They should contract and hold their groin muscles for a count of five and repeat the exercise 20 or more times twice a day. Men should also take a large dose of self-acceptance, stop comparing themselves to an ideal, and embrace their own uniqueness. Finally, they should become more creative and find ways to work around obstacles.
