In a recent slideshow, WebMD outlined 13 things that can lower a person’s sex drive and gave suggestions to help overcome them. From stress and too little sleep to alcohol and medications to obesity and poor body image, many things can interfere with a couple’s sex drive. Marriage problems, no matter what the reason, can slow things down. Having children won’t necessarily kill your sex drive; it will more likely take away time to be close. Men can have erectile dysfunction (ED) or low testosterone levels, both of which can affect his sex-drive. For women, menopause can do the same. For both men and women, suffering from depression can take the pleasure out of life.
