Could an orgasm replace your Excedrin? For some migraine sufferers, a recent study says the answer is, “Yes!” Researchers from the University of Munster in Germany tested the theory that sex can relieve headaches. Surveys were mailed to 800 people who suffer migraine pain and 200 who suffer from cluster headaches. Participants were asked if they engaged in sexual activity while experiencing headache pain and how that activity affected their pain. Approximately 40% of the questionnaires were returned and about 33% of respondents reported that they had engaged in sexual activity during a migraine or cluster headache. Of those who had sex, 60% reported that their pain was relieved.
