The holidays bring fun and laughter and huge levels of stress. How can you get through the holidays without stressful bickering? 1) Set aside time for daily extreme self-care. When stress comes in, our routines generally go out. Make eating in moderation and regular exercise a priority. 2) Get out of the house every night. Take an evening walk with your partner to talk, focus on each other, and hold hands. 3) Sync your calendars. Know where everyone is supposed to be and when, so that conflicts are kept to a minimum. 4) Steal some time away together. Spend time together as a couple. Also, de-escalate tense moments, give a thoughtful gift, and have fun.
