The study involved 140 men between 40 and 70 years old who were taking either 50 or 100 milligrams of Viagra. After several weeks, half of the men were given testosterone gel and half were given a placebo gel. On Viagra, using a sexual functioning scale, the men’s average scores went from 12.1 to 19.8, with a score of 30 indicating no sexual dysfunction.
