According to sex therapist and couples counselor Dr. Roger Libby, a healthy amount of exercise will improve your sex life, not drain you of energy. When you exercise, you liberate endorphins, which increase energy and libido, so if you say you’re too tired, you’re either using an excuse or overdoing it when you workout. Dr. Libby said, “Most often when a patient says, ‘I’m tired’, it’s like the old ‘I’ve got a headache’ thing. It’s an excuse.” If cutting back on exercise doesn’t help, it may be a relationship issue.
