We’ve all heard the numbers, men reach their sexual peak around the age of 18 and women generally peak between the ages of 30 and 40. Current research indicates these numbers may be wrong and that women actually reach their peak before men. A sexual peak, according to experts, is the height of libido when the sex drive increases, and it may have more to do with the individual than an exact age. However, in a recent study of 1,281 people, 40% felt they were having the best sex of their lives around the age of 30. On average, the men reached their peak at age 33 and the women at age 28.
