SERVICES

Ready for sex therapy?

This is a courageous undertaking. Courageous means of the heart. This is true because this is not just a psychological journey but one of the heart, soul, and body. Glad you are ready.

Here are some logistical pieces for you.

All sessions are on Zoom.

  • A 45-minute telehealth session is $225.
  • A 90-minute telehealth session is $405.
  • TRE (Trauma Releasing Exercises) 3 session package is $500. Trauma is defined here as anything that overwhelms the nervous system. This exclusive package consists of three separate sessions where we will explore the function of the autonomic nervous system, specifically the sympathetic nervous system and the parasympathetic nervous system in your body and how they have been impacted by your life experiences. You may be experiencing a sense of contraction, not being fully in the body, or numbness. These are all characteristics of trauma, stress, and overwhelm. Coming into the body is a powerful way to release these inhibitors.
  1. The first session is an initial call so that I may learn more about you, your intentions for this package, and how I may best guide you to your desired outcome. This  initial session allows me to customize the rest of our work based on your history, experience, and the level of integration desired.
  2. The next session is a Zoom session where you will learn the exercises and begin to understand how they move in your body- any accommodations, modifications, or other ideas of how to best facilitate this process will be addressed here.
  3. The final session is a follow-up to understand how your TRE practice lives in your life routine and create a viable pathway forward.

IN-PERSON SESSIONS

Customized, in-person retreats are available. These are personally designed for you based on your desired outcome, your level of commitment to the process, and your specific needs.

These retreats include a pre-meeting, a post-meeting, and regular check-ins leading up to the retreat and after. The retreats are between two and four days.

Customized retreats are specifically created for those who want to revitalize their relationship and create more rapid results. For those committed to improving their relationships immediately, this is a great way to do it.

FAQ

Most frequent questions and answers

Generally, I see individuals for 45-minute sessions and couples for 90-minute sessions. Sometimes couples only need a 45-minutes tune-up session and sometimes individuals need a deeper dive. Don’t feel limited by these suggestions. I invite you to ask for what you like.

I see people (via Zoom) for the first eight to twelve weeks weekly. This sets the ground for our work together. After that initial period, you may switch to sessions every other week to have more time for integration, for the activities I’ve recommended, or for life in general. You may stay with weekly sessions as it holds you accountable and on task. Check in with yourself and your partner. What feels right?

It is important to consider what you’d like to work on, the willingness of your partner, and the trajectory of your relationship. What I’d recommend is that you set up a consultation to discuss this with me. A fifteen-minute confidential call will answer your questions. If you’d like to schedule a consultation with your partner, we can set that up as well. My desire is to speak with you and thoroughly answer your questions before you commit to the therapeutic process, so that you understand and are informed prior to commencing therapy.

No. I will provide you with a super bill to submit to your insurance company.  Contact your insurance provider to discuss their reimbursement rate. Sex therapy is a specialization that is not often provided by behavioral health or mental health insurance panels, so they may reimburse you.
